Church leader: Gay life same as “greediness”

The ‘gay pattern of life’ is the same as ‘adultery’ or ‘greediness’ as it is inconsistent with Christian teachings, a visiting Anglican Archbishop told the Christchurch newspaper, ‘The Press.’

Visiting from Australia, Archbishop Peter Jensen has taken aim at Christians that promote the ordination of women and gays to the ministry. "If they were really concerned about unity they wouldn't have brought in the innovations which they know will be resisted on conscientious grounds,” Jensen said.
