An obnoxious question: Why Evangelize the Jews?

The uber-conservative Christianity Today has outdone themselves with this one: Why Evangelize the Jews? Claiming “God's chosen people need Jesus as much as we do,” Stan Guthrie has authored an uber-obnoxious srticle claiming “in 1989 a global group of evangelical theologians (including Vernon Grounds, Kenneth Kantzer, J. I. Packer, and Tokunboh Adeyemo) drafted the Willowbank Declaration on the Christian Gospel and the Jewish People. They denied that ‘any non-Christian faith, as such, will mediate eternal life with God.’”

Right – only good “Christians” like those who hate gays and demand their women submit to male authority are going to heaven.

Too bad Jesus won’t make the cut and be in 'their' heaven.
