Bishop to speak on gay row

One of the Church of England's most outspoken bishops is due to address a conference of Anglican traditionalists opposed to liberalisation of Church teaching on homosexuality.

The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, the Bishop of Rochester, will speak about the nature and future of the Anglican Communion at the Gafcon (Global Anglican Future) conference in Jerusalem.

The conference has been called just weeks before bishops of the worldwide Anglican Communion hold their 10-yearly meeting at the Lambeth Conference in Canterbury, Kent.
